Shriver

The Shriver Job Corps Center is located on the grounds of the former Fort Devens military base in Devens, MA. The Center serves 272 residential and 28 non-residential students, primarily from the state of Massachusetts. It provides vocational training in nine trades, including two Advanced Training Trades. The Center offers multiple high school diploma and equivalency options. The majority of students come from the communities of Gardner, Leominster, Fitchburg, Lowell and Lawrence. The contract includes recruitment for 1,087 students each year throughout the greater Boston metro and northeast regions of Massachusetts.

Shriver is named after Sargent Shriver, the founder of the Job Corps program. Educational partners include Mount Wachusett Community College, where students receive college credit while attending Shriver.
