Miami

The Miami Job Corps Center is located in Miami Gardens, FL, approximately 20 minutes from Miami proper. The Center serves 160 residential students and 77 non-residential students. It offers vocational training in 7 trades, multiple high school diploma programs, a high school equivalency program and college certification/degree programs through Miami Dade College. Approximately 70% of students are from the Miami-Fort Lauderdale metropolitan area, with the remainder from other parts of Florida.

The Miami Center opened in 1983 and sits on 18 acres, just 7 minutes from Hard Rock Stadium, where the Miami Dolphins play. The Center is located in a residential community within walking distance of movie theaters, restaurants and shopping centers.
