Our mission at Achieve Workforce Academy—Prince George’s County is to provide Prince George’s County youth (ages 18–24) with academic, vocational, and career readiness training, along with follow-up support and career placement.

Pathways Program

  • Develop an Individual Service Strategy
    We identify barriers and determine support services to address them.
  • Enroll in GED/Certification Classes
    We work with approved providers for occupational training services.
  • Complete Job Readiness Training
    Our goal is to train and strengthen professional development skills.
  • Participate in Paid Work Experience
    We provide stipends or full payment of wages for 6 to 9-week assignments.
  • Exit Program
    We provide six months of follow-up services for our participants.
  • Achieve Career or College Placement
  • Transportation
  • Childcare and dependent care
  • Uniforms or other appropriate work attire and work-related tools
  • Needs-related payments
  • Educational testing
  • US citizen or non-citizen authorized to work in the US
  • PG County Resident
  • 18-24 years old
  • Military Selective Service for males
  • Not attending any school
  • Commitment to complete the program and stay connected
